The Your Europe Advice (YEA) service is provided by independent legal experts from the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS) under a contract with the European Commission. A team of approximately 60 lawyers covers all 24 official languages of the European Union and is well-versed in both EU and national laws of individual member states. The experts respond free of charge, usually within 72 hours, and handle about 21,000 inquiries this way each year .
Your Europe Advice is primarily intended for specific, real-life situations that citizens and businesses encounter when moving around and doing business in the EU. It is therefore not limited to general or theoretical questions.
