Single market
We help companies navigate EU legislation and overcome obstacles in the Single Market.
What is the EU Single Market?
The European Union’s Single Market (“Single Market”) covers more than 450 million people and is one of the largest and most advanced economies in the world. It offers companies a wide range of opportunities for growth, expansion and international cooperation within the 27 EU Member States and other associated countries such as Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
The fundamental principle of the Single Market is the free movement of goods, services, capital and people, which greatly simplifies doing business across Europe and promotes the competitiveness of companies and the development of innovation.
Why is the EU Single Market important?
The Single Market removes many trade barriers and allows companies to operate across the EU with minimal administrative hurdles. Yet, in practice, specific national rules, different procedures or regulatory constraints may persist that make doing business more difficult. We aim to help you identify and minimise these barriers.
