We offer a programme for growing companies Scaleup Leaderswhere you will become part of a community of successful scale-ups. You will gain access to mentoring, investors, experts and contacts in the Czech Republic and abroad, and support tailored to the stage your company is at.

The support focuses on several key areas:

We can help you prepare to acquire larger investments (Series A and above). We will provide you with an overview of investment opportunities, contacts to relevant venture capital funds and business angels, and connect you with investors appropriate for your stage of growth. Our network includes over 50 investors and VC funds from Central Europe, especially for pre-seed and seed stage. For more advanced scale-ups we can also help you find foreign funds for larger rounds.

We organize specialized educational and networking events such as Investment Academywhere you can gain practical know-how on venture capital, negotiating with investors, company valuation, crowdfunding or mezzanine financing.

In addition, JIC itself invests through JIC Ventures (in pre-seed/seed stages) and cooperates with CzechInvest funds .

We will not let you grow alone. We’ll invite you to Scaleup Masterminds – regular gatherings of founders and CEOs where you can share your experiences and tackle sensitive topics like valuation, investor relations and similar challenges in a safe and confidential environment.

We offer each scale-up a long-term cooperation with an experienced guide (Scaleup Guide) who works with you on key strategic topics. We will help you identify obstacles to growth and find specific solutions.

We connect you with top experts in leadership, managing fast-growing teams, setting up processes, scaling marketing and sales to new segments, or professionalizing financial management. If necessary, we can help you build advisory board or a one-off “challenge board” to give you independent feedback on your plans.

We take a very practical approach to mentoring . We pass on best practices and know-how for your growth. We also address sensitive topics such as handing over the company to the younger generation or preparing for the sale of the company. With family and founder-owned companies in particular, there often comes a point when you need to hand over management to a professional. Even in these situations, we will guide you through the entire transformation process without your company losing momentum.

An example of cooperation is the South Moravian company ZEBR, where we assisted in the handover of management from the founder to the new director and in setting up strategic management.
