No. EEN Czechia services are free of charge. They are funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

In order to use the services of the Enterprise Europe Network, it is necessary that the entity has an assigned ID number. The services are primarily intended for SMEs or other entities with an entrepreneurial character. To find partners through the Partner Opportunities Database (POD), we need a TIN. We also provide EEN services to sole traders in general.

No. Export or international cooperation is not a prerequisite for using EEN Czechia services. Companies can contact us even if they are just preparing to enter foreign markets or are dealing with other areas such as innovation, digitalization, sustainability or company growth.

Yes. Universities and research organisations can use EEN Czechia’s services especially in connection with international cooperation, technology transfer, involvement in European projects or finding partners from the application sphere.

Yes, they can. However, for subsidiaries, spin-offs or other related entities, you need to check whether they meet the definition of a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) under EU rules.
The assessment takes into account, in particular, the ownership structure, links with the parent company and the number of employees or turnover of the whole group. We will be happy to help you check whether your company meets the SME criteria.
