The Czechia Dealroom platform has quickly become one of the most important tools for mapping and showcasing the Czech innovation ecosystem. It was created by CzechInvest, which launched it in collaboration with partners to offer Czech startups, technology companies, and research institutions a single platform where they can showcase themselves and be easily found by investors, corporations, and international partners.

Czechia Dealroom offers a comprehensive overview of more than 1,700 funded Czech startups —regardless of the company’s age—and 650+ investors, creating the most comprehensive digital map of Czech innovation to date. The platform allows users to track the development of individual companies, their funding, growth, and international expansion. At the same time, it provides an overview of the overall performance of the Czech startup ecosystem according to international standards, which is essential for comparing it with other countries.

Thanks to Czechia Dealroom, it is also possible to gain insight into the macro level of the Czech innovation ecosystem. According to Dealroom data, the combined value of Czech startups is approximately $18.1 billion, and the ecosystem has grown more than sevenfold since 2015. Prague has become the dominant center with a value of over $13.8 billion, while Brno holds the position of the second most important hub. The Czech Republic is home to four unicorns, including Rohlik, Productboard, Mews, and the merger of global cybersecurity leaders AVG and Avast (now part of Gen Digital). Furthermore, there are currently 37 progressive companies operating in the Czech Republic with a realistic aspiration to become unicorns—that is, companies with a current market valuation between $100 million and $999 million.

The platform also shows how well Czech startups are doing in raising capital. In 2024 alone, more than 6 billion crowns (370 million USD) were invested in them, with sectors such as fintech, enterprise software, AI, and others traditionally attracting the most attention from investors. These figures are not merely a statistical overview; they serve as an important indicator for foreign investors, who can use Czechia Dealroom to quickly identify promising companies and trends.

The platform doesn’t just offer a static overview; its features actively help investors and partners navigate the dynamically evolving Czech ecosystem. The Hot Startups section lets users view Czech startups with the greatest growth potential with a single click, providing a quick and clear way for investors to identify the most promising players in the market.

Equally important is the section dedicated to CzechInvest’s support, where visitors can easily explore all the innovative startups backed by the agency’s projects, such as ESA BIC Czech Republic, Technology Incubation, and Acceleration. CzechInvest has not only supported these startups through its programs but also promotes them further via Czechia Dealroom to raise their global profile. The “Spin-offs” section also deserves special attention; it brings together in one place promising startups linked to researchers and universities—that is, projects with a solid research foundation and high innovation potential.

To ensure the platform covers the broadest possible spectrum of the Czech startup ecosystem, Czechia Dealroom has established a collaboration with a new partner—the Ynovate network of innovation centers. This partnership brings valuable regional reach: thanks to Ynovate’s network of centers across the Czech Republic, the platform will include as many promising startups as possible from regions outside the main innovation hubs.

In addition, the platform now offers a “News” feature, where users can easily keep track of current events in the startup world, with a focus on Czech startups. This new feature transforms Czechia Dealroom not only into a database but also into a live news channel for anyone who wants to stay informed about what’s happening in the Czech innovation ecosystem.
