Nanotech Business Mission in Japan
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to participate in a trade mission to Japan organized by the EU-Japan Center for Industrial Cooperation. The mission is linked to participation in the nano tech 2026 trade show, one of Japan’s leading events focused on advanced materials, manufacturing processes, and related technologies.
Do you work in the field of advanced materials, manufacturing processes, or related technologies, and are you looking for new business opportunities in Japan?
The trade mission offers European companies and clusters the opportunity to showcase their solutions at the nano tech 2026 trade show, gain a better understanding of the Japanese market, and establish contacts with potential business and technology partners.
The program will include a presentation at the joint EU-Japan Center booth, individual B2B meetings, networking with representatives of companies and other organizations, and a visit to a selected Japanese company or institution. Before the trip, participants will also complete two online training sessions focused on preparing for the Japanese market.
- December 14: Recommended arrival in Tokyo

The mission is intended for entities from the European Union and countries participating in the relevant part of the Single Market Program that are active in the field of advanced materials, manufacturing processes, and related technologies.
It is particularly suitable for companies offering technologies at an advanced stage of development or solutions ready for commercial use. Applicants should be able to present specific applications for their technology and demonstrate experience with its pilot or practical implementation.
Registration
Applications must be submitted no later than September 8, 2026, via the organizer’s website.
The selection process will primarily evaluate the strategy and potential of the company or cluster in the Japanese market, the relevance of the proposed solution to the mission’s focus, and the applicant’s professional experience.
