Practical tips for ESG and SME competitiveness
The ESG roadshow in the Pardubice Region on topics such as sustainability, analysis of corporate risks and impacts, market position and responsible approach to resources and partners is organised by the CzechInvest state agency in cooperation with Deloitte ČR and the Change for the Better platform.
Contribution to the topic:
- ESG legislation and finance in a nutshell: ESG legal requirements, bank and financial sector attitude, financial support and sourcing options;
- ESG in the company in practice: impact on company processes, production, suppliers and customers, products and services. How to achieve long-term stability and resilience across the company;
- Current technologies for climate neutral solutions and decarbonisation ;
- What interesting things are happening and offered in the region on the topic: tools, opportunities, events and initiatives;
- An example of good practice from a local company.
The aim of the event is to introduce representatives of innovative SMEs in particular to why it is good to take a proactive approach to corporate sustainability, risk management and competitiveness growth. Furthermore, how the way to a better market position and more trustworthy business partnerships is through a responsible approach to resources.
Specialists from the consulting company Deloitte will give you an overview of the legal requirements of ESG and the financial sector’s attitude to this issue. Experts from the strongest Czech platform for sustainable business Change for the better thanks to their broad membership base, will present practical tips and examples of the impact of ESG issues on processes, production and supply chains.
CzechInvest will present technologies of startups in the field of climate-neutral solutions, which are sponsored under the Technology Incubation project under the banner of EcoTech Hub as well as the possibilities of cooperation and support offered on the topics of sustainability and resilience within the European Enterprise Network project . In the next session you will have the opportunity to learn about the activities and opportunities offered in the Pardubice Region by the Circular Hub and the Cheers4EU project under the business incubator P-PINK .
Finally, we will introduce you to the company’s approach Foxconn CZ Ltd. to corporate sustainability and competitiveness based on long-term cooperation with their suppliers, a system of mutual motivation, inspiration and audits.
